After more than a decade of building smart charging with our users, we’re taking the next step in our journey. As Jedlix continues to scale through partnerships with energy providers, the Jedlix app has been discontinued on June 4th.
If you had a Jedlix account, here's how your data and connected assets were handled:
Connected vehicles and chargers
All vehicles and chargers connected to Jedlix accounts were fully disconnected on 9 June. This means that your asset has been completely removed from the Jedlix platform, and no further data is being requested, received, or processed.
Tesla Virtual Keys
We were unable to automatically remove the Tesla Virtual Key during the vehicle disconnection process. This is because the "assets.jedlix.com" key is also used by other Jedlix partner services and must remain active.
While this Virtual Key may still appear in your vehicle, it is no longer used by the Jedlix app unless it is being used by one of our partner smart charging services. If you are not using any of these partner services, you can remove the Virtual Key at any time directly from your Tesla.
Earnings and payouts
On 29 May, we automatically attempted to process all outstanding payouts above €5.
If you did not enter your bank account details in the app before this date, or if the details on your account were incorrect or outdated, the payout will have failed. From the 18th of June, it is no longer possible to recover your outstanding payouts.
Account and personal data
All personal data associated with Jedlix accounts will be deleted in batches throughout the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of June.
After this date, information such as your account details, charging locations, and other personal data will be permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our data retention policies.
